Synthetic turf has become increasingly popular due to its durability and low maintenance, making it a cost-effective option for many sports facilities. However, some players have raised concerns about the increased risk of injury on artificial turf compared to natural grass. The History of Synthetic Turf Since 1996 when the Astrodome debuted its artificial grass field, many sports teams have followed suit and switched to synthetic turf.
